Comhairle nan Eilean Siar welcomes opinions on its work and is keen to encourage users of this site to express themselves in a clear and open manner. The primary aim of this site is to allow inhabitants of the Outer Hebrides to provide ideas and feedback to the Comhairle on an ongoing basis. To ensure that this site functions properly, all comments are pre-moderated and as a result will not appear instantly. However, the site is monitored on a daily basis and the Comhairle would aim to allow comments to appear as quickly as possible. Comhairle Awarded Funding to Introduce Temporary Physical Distancing Measures
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has been awarded, £128,850 to support the introduction of temporary physical distancing measures across the Outer Hebrides. The fund will be used to implement temporary measures to enable physical distancing while walking, wheeling and cycling.

Polling Station Review
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar announced on 21 July that a review of Polling Districts and Polling Places within the Na h-Eileanan an Iar area would be undertaken. The review particularly focused on the suitability of premises or facilities for persons with any type of disability.
