  • Fund Raising for Cancer Research & The Lymphoma Association

    Steven's family have decided to take on the Arrochar Alps in a three peaks challenge. A beloved son, brother, husband, father to his young son, nephew, and cousin. Steven was in the prime of life when he was struck down with cancer, more specifically non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He fought hard firstly, with standard treatments and latterly through clinical trials. However after a long fight he passed away on 28th June 2016.

  • Consultations Close Soon – Outer Hebrides Draft Local Housing Strategy and Proposed Local Development Plan

    There is just one weeks left to get responses in to two linked consultations that the Comhairle is undertaking which look at the delivery of development and housing in the Outer Hebrides. Consultations on the Draft Local Housing Strategy (LHS) and Proposed Local Development Plan (LDP) are due to close on Friday 10th March.
