    The Outer Hebrides Child Protection Committee in partnership with the Domestic Abuse Forum and the Adult Protection Committee recently held a Public Protection Conference, Improving Lives, Improving Life Chances, at An Lanntair. The event was co-funded by the Chief Officers Group and the NHS Western Isles Health Promotions Department.

    The Comhairle are preparing a Gaelic Language Plan for 2018-2022 for the Western Isles, in terms of the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005.
