  • Sgoil Lionacleit Sports Centre

    Due to the installation of the new gym equipment the fitness suite will be closed from Thursday 12th January and will reopening Tuesday 17th January at 5pm. Over the next couple of weeks additional staff will be on hand to familiarize current gym users with the new equipment, however if you have not completed a gym induction previously then you must still contact the facility to make a full gym induction appointment.

     
  • Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais

    Due to the installation of our new gym equipment, the dance studio and gym will be unavailable from Monday 9th January until Saturday 14th January. The squash courts will also be unavailable on Monday 9th January and Tuesday 10th January next week for storage purposes. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience but please be assured that it will definitely be worth it when you see our brand new equipment!

     
  • The Western Isles Development Trust

    The Western Isles Development Trust (WIDT) has agreed to work in partnership with Community Energy Scotland (CES) over a 2 year period to help community groups in the Western Isles improve energy efficiency and progress renewable energy schemes. WIDT currently invites applications from community groups for funding for projects with a focus on alleviating fuel poverty and promoting renewable energy.

  • "It takes 3 to shift a stone" weight loss competition

    It's that time of the year when we are all thinking about losing weight and getting healthier after over indulging during the festive season. NHS Western Isles are supporting our Public Health Dietitian in arranging a  weight loss competition "It takes 3 to shift a stone." Image © NHS WI.
