  • Comhairle Sets Budget

    Comhairle nan Eilean Siar set its budget for 2018/19 yesterday. The Comhairle started considering its forward budget strategy in June 2017 when it created a budget Board, comprising Councillors from all Wards and Parties, to oversee its implementation.   • Uist Fuel Supplies

    Assurances have been sought over continued fuel supplies to the Uists as Lochcarnan Depot undergoes essential maintenance during February and March. On Tuesday this week, the Comhairle's Chairman of Transportation, Councillor Uisdean Robertson (Beinn na Faoghla agus Uibhist a Tuath), met with Certas Energy's Director of Corporate Affairs, Dr Brian Worrall, to discuss the matter.

     
  • Community Participation Request Decision Notice

    Pursuant to regulation 8 of the Participation Request (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2017/39 the Comhairle is obliged to publish the following Decision Notice in respect of a Participation Request made under section 22 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
