Restricted Vehicle Booking System

From Tuesday 23rd January 2024, restricted vehicle users looking to access the Household Waste Recycling Centres at Creed Park, Stornoway or Rueval, Benbecula must have a valid booking in place.

This booking system was in use prior to last year's cyber-attack and proved successful in controlling the flow of traffic, reducing waiting times for service users, and reducing pressure on HWRC staff at Creed Park and Rueval.

If you are using a trailer, commercial or commercial like vehicle (any vehicle that appears to be or could be used for trade, business or commercial purpose such as a van, pickup, commercial 4×4 or similar, including hired commercial vehicles), you will need to book a time slot through our online booking system and be in receipt of a valid confirmation of booking prior to arriving at any of our household waste recycling centres.
