Transport Decarbonisation programme open for applications

On 16 November, the Department for Transport (DfT) announced £2 million of funding to encourage councils and businesses to work together to develop transport schemes that cut emissions in the long term. UK-registered businesses can apply for up to £500,000 to work with councils to tackle local transport challenges.

The funding will be awarded and delivered by Innovate UK - part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) - the UK's national innovation agency.

The Transport Decarbonisation programme opened yesterday (27 November) and will close 8 January 2024
