Careers Week Begins Across the Western Isles

Scottish Careers Week begins today. The week will feature events and activities to help people of all ages explore, understand and manage their careers choices, and the services and resources available to them.

Careers week is a time to showcase job opportunities and career paths across the Western Isles' various industries.

Employers and organisations, through collaboration with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and Developing the Young Workforce Outer Hebrides, are taking part in events to provide career inspiration and attract future and current talent to key industry sectors.

Below is information about the various career fairs taking place across the islands:

Lewis & Harris: Stornoway Sports Centre, Wed 15 November, 9.30am-3pm.

Uist:Sgoil Lionacleit Games Hall, Thurs 23 November, 1pm - 6pm.

Barra:Castlebay School Games Hall, Wed 15 November, 9am - 3pm.
