Outer Hebrides CLLD launches Capital Fund

The Outer Hebrides Community Led Local Development Local Action Group (OH CLLD LAG) is delighted to announce the launch of its latest fund, a Capital Fund scheme for projects which promote equity, inclusion and accessibility as well as environmental sustainability.

Funding is expected to be used to purchase equipment, machinery, appliances or similar, which will have an immediate, measurable impact on communities in the Outer Hebrides but also provide benefits beyond the lifetime of this fund.

A total of £50,000 will be made available and each applicant may request up to £10,000. Applications are limited to one per organisation and must be submitted by midday on Friday 22nd September 2023.

Colin Gilmour, OHCPP representative on the LAG stated:

"We are delighted that the recently received capital allowance will enable us to expand on the already extensive CLLD programme planned for 2023/24. It is abundantly clear that there is an ever-increasing need for support in our communities and we are looking forward to hearing what exiting projects and initiatives the LAG could support."
