Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is offering for sale, by bid via email, a range of used skip containers.

Please note that this equipment may not comply fully with current Health and Safety regulations and all goods are sold as seen, subject to the Comhairles "Disposal of Goods - Conditions of Sale", copies of which are available on request.

Bids must be made by email only and addressed to:

recycling@cne-siar.gov.uk   (Clearly marked "BIDS FOR COMHAIRLE SKIPS" in title or subject of email.)

Where multiple skips are available in a lot you MUST specify the quantity of skips that you are bidding on, and the bid PER SKIP (not a total price). Depending on other bids received, you may not win the total number of skips you have bid on.

The closing date for receipt of Bids by email is Friday 8 September 2023 at 12:00 Noon. 

On receipt of acceptance of offer payment for the skips must be made in full within 48 hours.

Items must be removed at the purchasers' own expense within 7 days.
