Uig Metagama Performance tickets available

Sgoil Uig and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar's Department of Education, Skills and Children's Services are delighted to announce the seventh in a series of eight events to commemorate one hundred years since the Metagama sailed from Stornoway on the 21st of April 1923.

The event will take place at Uig Community Centre on Thursday the 27th of April 2023 at 4.00pm. Pupils from the area will showcase their acting, singing and musical skills in what promises to be a memorable event for the community. The script was written by Joni Buchanan.

The event is free to attend but a silver collection for Bethesda will be at the door.
