Deadline for Crown Estate Funding

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is reminding Community Groups that the deadline for applications to the Crown Estate Revenues Fund (CERF) is noon on Friday 31st March 2023.

The Comhairle has set aside £1.1m of funding from Crown Estates Revenues to support community projects across the Western Isles.

The CERF is to be distributed to community groups seeking to improve infrastructure and economic development in their area. Engagement throughout the process will be required by Ward area forums to identify local need and aspirations. Ultimately, local people decide.

Applications forms, guidance and eligibility criteria are available on the on the Crown Estate Revenues Fund - Year 4 webpage. Each Ward area has the opportunity for groups to bid for up to £100,000 in total.
