COST OF LIVING SUPPORT SCHEME First Tranche Concludes on 20th

The first tranche of the Comhairle's Cost of Living Support scheme will end on Friday 20th January 2023.

A range of good projects have applied to the scheme which aims to support community groups assist households in dealing with the Cost of Living Crisis.

If any community groups wish to apply for funding under the scheme they should do so before the 20th.

Cllr Paul Steele, Leader of the Comhairle, said: "Many people in our communities are struggling as a result of the Cost of Living crisis.  There are many community groups which wish to provide support to go some way towards mitigating the worst impacts and the Comhairle can support those running such schemes. I would urge any groups interested in applying to register under the scheme before the 20th January."
