Lionel and Shawbost Pools Reopen to the Public

CnES Sport and Health are delighted to announce the reopening of swimming pools at Lionel and Shawbost schools.

While school swimming sessions have been taking place at both sites over the last term, it is now possible to open the pools back up for public swimming.

Initially the pools will operate 45-minute slots, starting on the hour, to allow staff time to follow an enhanced cleaning protocol and to reduce congestion. There will be a maximum of 25 bathers per session and slots can be booked on the  CnES booking app. Remember you don't need to be a member to use the app - we can set you up as a 'Pay As You Go' user too. It will be possible to just turn up and swim (depending on availability) however we would strongly recommend booking in advance where possible!

(Note: In order to make a booking on the app you will need your membership number and a four digit PIN. Contact isladminteam@cne-siar.gov.uk if you do not have these)

Sessions are free to members, £3 for non-member adults and £1.50 for non-member Juniors and Concessions. We would be grateful if parents waiting for children follow the Scottish Government ' Distance Aware' guidance and use the marked seating areas where appropriate.
