Buy toys safely this Christmas

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has, today (15 November), published a safety guidance on how to buy toys safely this Christmas.

OPSS has made available a safety checklist for anyone purchasing toys this Christmas which includes tips on:

  • knowing who you are buying from
  • always reading the warnings and instructions
  • avoiding toys with small parts
  • looking out for strangulation hazards
  • compare the sellers
  • check for product recalls at productrecallcampaign.gov.uk
