Comhairle Invites Feedback on Corporate Strategy

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar's Corporate Strategy which was agreed in August 2020 to assist with post-COVID Recovery and Renewal is due to be refreshed in 2022.  The  Draft Corporate Strategy 2022 - 2027 (1.3MB)  is available to download.

To coincide with the Comhairle's business planning process for 2022 onwards, this refresh requires to be completed by the end of the year.  This will enable services to draw up their business plans for financial year 2022/23 and beyond based on the strategic outcomes of the new Corporate Strategy. 

The Comhairle undertook a series of community engagement exercises across the Outer Hebrides in 2019/20 and online engagement in 2020/21.  The results from the Community Conversations, informs the draft Corporate Strategy 2022-2027.

The Comhairle would like to invite comments on the draft Corporate Strategy, 2022-27 as feedback is important to ensure that outcomes have a positive impact in the areas that need them most.

The closing date for the consultation is 12 noon, Friday 17 September 2021. 

Comments received will be reviewed and the draft Corporate Strategy will be amended as appropriate.  The final draft of the Corporate Strategy will be considered by the Policy and Resources Committee of the Comhairle on 29 September 2021.
