Parkinson's UK Fundraiser by Tony Wade

I am undertaking a challenge next month to mark my 60th birthday to support Parkinson's UK. My brother was a high level rugby player and was diagnosed with Parkinson's at age 52 over a decade ago. He has been a total inspiration in the way he has confronted a really difficult situation including putting himself forward for a research project based in Newcastle - sadly there has been very limited progress over the last 40 years in producing new treatments for the condition.

I plan to run 100 miles over 7 days on a long distance trail in North Yorkshire and Cumbria that goes past my brother's house finishing on my birthday on 17th July, surrounded by friends, family.  I have a JustGiving page set up for anyone who would like to support a great cause. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tonywade

Many thanks.
