The Armed Forces Day flag will be raised at an event in Perceval Square at 10am on Monday 19thJune. The flag lowering ceremony will take place at 6pm on Monday 10thJuly.
Representatives of the Lewis and Harris Youth Pipe Band and the Lewis and Harris Youth Concert Band will perform at the event.
Convener of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Cllr Kenneth Macleod, said:
"Armed Forces Day gives us an opportunity to recognise the service of current and past members of the armed forces. I would like to thank all involved in organising the event and encourage public attendance."
