Construction Opportunities at Lews Castle College UHI

Lews Castle College UHI has spaces available on a variety of courses within the Construction & Engineering sectors at pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship level which can support students on to employment or further education.

Construction apprenticeships combine practical work experience with classroom education providing the best basis for a career in the construction industry.

The Western Isles has a strong construction sector with local contractors in need of dedicated young employees to strengthen their workforces.

UHI LCC's Technology Department offers state of the art facilities with dedicated workshops that offer students a unique learning experience and well-established connections with local businesses.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Apprenticeship Manager, Dolina Smith said: "The construction apprenticeships delivered by Lews Castle College UHI offer an entrance into a diverse range of roles within the construction sector.
