The Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Event took place at Perceval Square, Stornoway, at 10am this morning Monday 21st June.
Comhairle Convener, Cllr Norman A MacDonald, said: "Although this year's event was slightly different to previous years, it is very important that we remember those who are currently serving in the forces and those who gave their lives for the freedom that we enjoy today."
The Flag Lowering Event will take place in Perceval Square next Monday (28th June).
