What to expect from this webinar

This webinar will look at what specific support and advice is available in Scotland for women starting up or running businesses.

According to warnings from international institutions, from the UN to the World Economic Forum, COVID-19 has the potential to set women's economic progress back 30 years.

This webinar looks at the impact of the past 12 months exploring:

  • Why it's meant more women might be considering starting their own business - whether that's through necessity or opportunity
  • The advantages and challenges of starting up
  • What businesses can do to adapt to new ways of working
  • The role digital technology can play in helping them face the challenges ahead

Joining host Carolyn Currie from Women's Enterprise Scotland are successful women in business:

  • Alex Feechan, FINDRA
  • Lynne Mann, Supernature Oils
  • Sarah Johnson, IndigoLeap

If you would like to submit questions to the panel in advance, please email them to business@bgateway.com and we will try and answer as many as possible during the webinar.

This is a joint Business Gateway and Women's Enterprise Scotland event.
