Following on from the great response to the planned New Year's Day Cèilidh, the Comhairle will also be putting out a Christmas Eve cèilidh on 24th December at 9pm.
The cèilidh will be pre-recorded by some of the great artists who have kept us entertained with cèilidhs over the past few months. There will also be a few new faces too and everyone will be singing Christmas classics in Gaelic or English.
Starting on Monday the 7th of December, the Comhairle will announce artists taking part in the cèilidh at 10am each morning, Monday to Friday.
A Comhairle Spokesperson said, "A huge thank you to the artists for getting in the Christmas spirit early to record these songs, and to the Multimedia team for putting the cèilidh together. We hope that you join us on Christmas Eve for a night of Christmas songs."
