The Local Review Body (LRB) is a Committee of the Comhairle whose purpose is to review decisions made by an Appointed Officer, in terms of the Comhairle's Scheme of Delegation.
The Local Review Body will conduct reviews in accordance with Section 43 A (8) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 as amended where the Appointed Officer:
(a) refuses an application for planning permission or for consent agreement or approval
(b) grants it subject to conditions or
(c) has not determined it within such a period as may be prescribed by regulations or a development order
The Local Review Body shall at all times conduct its affairs in accordance with the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Schemes of Delegation and Local Review Procedure) Scotland Regulations 2013.
