Mental Health Services Redesign ‘Vision for the Future’ events (Castlebay)

Western lsles residents interested in mental health for all ages and Dementia are invited to join World Cafe events to discuss NHS WI Mental Health services redesign. The World Cafe events are an opportunity to meet the NHS WI team undertaking the mental health services redesign across the island chain, and talk with them about what redesigned services services will mean for your community in the future.

The team incudes people working for the NHS, as well as represenataiuves from CNES, Penumbra, WI Association for Mental Health, Alzheimers Scotland, Cobhair Barraigh, and Tagsa Uibhist. Offering  a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits, the World Cafe events offer a chance for the team to meet with island residents, especially those who use the services, care for someone who does, or provides services themselves in a relaxed and informal setting.

Tuesday 26th February: 5 - 7 pm Old School Balallan, Isle of Lewis

Thursday 28th February: 5 - 7 pm Carloway Community Hall, Carloway, Isle of Lewis  

Monday 4th March: 5 - 7 pm Castlebay Hall, Castlebay, Isle of Barra

Tuesday 5th March: 5 - 7 pm Balivanich Hall, Benbecula

Monday 11th March: 5 - 7 pm Education Unit, Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis

Wednesday 13th March: 5 - 7 pm Tarbert Community Hall, Tarbert, Harris
