"The Comhairle needs to better coordinate its community engagement and consultation activity across services and with its partners."

"While community engagement is an important area of activity for the Comhairle, it needs to be clear about the distinct need to effectively gather and use customer satisfaction information. Gathering appropriate customer satisfaction information is crucial to be able to demonstrate the quality of the services the Comhairle provides to its communities."

 E-Sgìre aims to:

  1. Allow users to filter information from the Comhairle according to the Ward in which they live and to promote the use of this filter as an effective way to interact with the Comhairle.
  2. Disseminate news and events to these users so that extraneous information does not appear and to allow services to publish  information at a far more localised level.
  3. Provide users with the opportunity to comment about subjects on which the Comhairle wishes to consult, in a constructive manner.
  4. Provide an online space in which the reporting of the Comhairle's performance can have a more prominent role.
