  • Comhairle Cautions Over Challenges Ahead

    Councils across Scotland face significant challenges in the year ahead states a report from the Accounts Commission into Local Government finances. Responding to the report the Leader of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Angus Campbell, said: "It is to be welcomed that the Accounts Commission recognises that Councils have managed their finances well. They are also right to emphasise that significant challenges lie ahead for Local Authorities."

  • Nominations deadline for Airidhantuim CC

  • Comhairle Welcomes Expanded Flight Schedule

    Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has welcomed an expanded schedule of flights on Loganair services. The new schedule, announced today, will see larger aircrafts with increased capacity being used on Stornoway-Glasgow flights and new flights which will see a service from Stornoway to Manchester via Inverness or Glasgow.
